Nate Leipciger was born in Chorzów, Poland, in 1928. During the Holocaust, he was a prisoner in ghetto and Nazi camps, including Auschwitz-Birkenau. He survived with his father, and they immigrated to Canada in 1948. Nate lives in Toronto.
