Muguette Szpajzer-Myers was born in Paris, France, in 1931. She survived the war hiding in the village of Champlost with her mother and older brother. In 1947, Muguette and her family immigrated to Canada and settled in Montreal. Muguette Myers is the author of Where Courage Lives.
