Margrit Rosenberg Stenge was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1928. During the Holocaust, she and her parents fled Germany and were in hiding in Norway before escaping to Sweden. After the war, Margrit lived in Norway. She immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1951 and settled in Montreal. Margrit Rosenberg Stenge is the author of Silent Refuge.
