Judy Abrams was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1937. During the Nazi occupation, she was in hiding, first with nuns and then in the apartment of a non-Jewish family friend in Budapest. Judy and her family immigrated to Canada in 1949 and settled in Montreal. Judy Abrams is the author of Tenuous Threads.
