Eva Lang was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1930. During the war, she and her family fled to France, where they were held in internment camps. Eva and two of her sisters were rescued and hidden in several children’s homes. After the war, Eva immigrated to British Mandate Palestine as an orphan. She moved to Canada in 1974 and settled in Toronto for many years before moving back to Israel. Eva Lang is the author of Three Stars in the Sky from At Great Risk: Memoirs of Rescue during the Holocaust.
