Bronia Beker

Bronia Beker was born in Kozowa, Poland (now Kozova, Ukraine), in 1920. During the Nazi occupation, she was forced into the Kozowa ghetto. She escaped and went into hiding until the region was liberated. After the war, Bronia lived with her husband in a displaced persons camp in Austria and started a family. They immigrated to Canada in 1948 and settled in Toronto. Bronia Beker is the author of Joy Runs Deeper.
