We'll be touring the country delivery workshops on our new digital platform Re:Collection, launching our latest titles, hosting in-depth discussion with leading thinkers and educators, giving people from across Canada the opportunity to connect with Holocaust survivors and their stories, and so much more.

BOOK LAUNCH

Join us as we celebrate the publication of three new memoirs, Inside the Walls by Eddie Klein, The Last Time by Eva Shainblum and Where Courage Lives by Muguette Myers.

A copy of each new memoir will given to those in attendance. And the event will be followed by a book signing and desserts and refreshments.

Nate Leipciger, author of The Weight of Freedom, will be holding a book signing meet-and-greet at the Bayview Chapters at 1pm.

KENORA FIRST NATIONS OUTREACH

Kenora, ON

We are proud to be working with Canada's First Nations communities in the Kenora region for a culturally and historically significant event.

In conjunction with Ve’Ahavta and the Kenora Chiefs Advisory we will be meeting with elders and community members and for the first time First Nations students from the surrounding area will get a chance to hear the testimony of a Holocaust survivor when Nate Leipciger, author of The Weight of Freedom, fresh off a trip to Auschwitz with Justin Trudeau, will be telling his story in Kenora.

VANCOUVER FRENCH OUTREACH

Vancouver, BC

For three days our French outreach team will be giving area schools a chance to hear the story of hidden child survivor Judy Abrams, author of One of the Lucky Ones.

HOLOCAUST SYMPOSIUM

Moose Jaw, SK

Students from across Saskatchewan will be coming to Moose Jaw to hear Nate Leipciger share his incredible story of survival and discuss the dangers of bigotry and indifference.


October 11 - 12

NEW BRUNSWICK BILINGUAL EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH

Moncton, NB

Holocaust survivor and author of In Hiding, Marguerite Elias Quddus will be travelling with our French outreach team to speak with students at the University of New Brunswick and the following day Marguerite will share her incredible story with the students of Odyssée High School in Moncton.

Part of the Inspire's Annual Conference and Holocaust Education Week we will be participating in an evening discussion on the medium of memoir with Holocaust survivor Nate Leipciger and residential school survivor Theodore Fontaine.
